    69 Gauge Cluster

69 owners, with your dash lights on is your center gauge cluster dimmer at the top of the oil pressure gauge than all the others like mine in the photo. All bulbs are working and new. Wondering if this is a design flaw. Gauge interior box was completely disassembled. Had paint matched and resprayed so every bulb would reflect properly. What I dont know was if the factory green paint was of a luminescent type.
    TIA.

Issue solved. Apparently the gauge face was too close to the inner bezel keeping the light from getting thru to that area of the gauge.

The very faint green paint used for the gauge face was luminescent.

Thanks Joe, i did know the numbers, tick marks and writing were all luminescent. I was referring to the light green paint inside the gauge cluster box where it is unseen unless you disassemble the box or pop a bulb out and look thru the hole to the inside.

I don't think that paint was luminescent but it is possible that it was.
