    Not receiving email from NCRS.

We recently sent postcards to several hundred members who's email addresses were bouncing back as undeliverable. Many were old email addresses that were no longer used. Many others were rejected by the email providers for one reason or another. With a little bit of testing we found that putting *@ncrs.org in the email contact list allowed email from NCRS to be delivered. Asterisk * is a wildcard that should allow any email from NCRS regardless of the beginning part of the address.

I would like to recommend that everyone do that even if you have no problem at this time. Email providers are always tweaking there systems to block spam and the problem may come up without you realizing it.

    John,

    Thanks for this suggestion.

Many/Most of my NCRS emails end up in junk, even though I have "message@ncrs.org" and "no_reply@ncrs.org" in my contact list.
    Regards,
    Brian McIntyre

        Don,

You should receive a notice of my answer to your post question.

How often emails are sent are totally dependent as to when someone sends a Chapter e-mail or makes a post you're subscribed to, etc.

          John,

some, but not all, NCRS emails are still ending up in my apple device junk folder even though I added *@ncrs.org to my address book. As a result, they do not make it to my outlook email unless I move them to my apple inbox.

The recent message of Shannon becoming President came through just fine. Today, three notices of replies to threads I had commented on were in Apple junk.

          Suggestions are welcome.
          Regards,
          Brian McIntyre

            Brian,

Try moving from SPAM to InBox in your webmail by marking "Not SPAM"?

That's what it takes to get several email senders into my InBox for att.net email.

Notices of replies to forum posts your are subscribed to are from admin@forums.ncrs.org. Not sure but putting *@forums.ncrs.org might be the answer to that issue since forums is part of the domain name for those emails.

                  Gary,
What I discovered is that I needed to first access my att.net email through the Currently ATT home page and do what you suggested. Normally, I use OUTLOOK through Windows 10 and NOT SPAM is not an option there. Since I made the NOT SPAM moves in the ATT home page, those emails show up in the OUTLOOK inbox in Windows 10 and on my apple devices.
                  Strange, but it worked.
                  Thanks for the suggestion.

                    Brian,

The ISP's are constantly "tweaking" the algorithms. So, you'll need to periodically check your att.net webmail SPAM and mark the ones you want "Not SPAM".

Appreciate your letting us know the process worked for you.
