'71 Transmission Reversing & Delay Relays

Can anyone tell me if there's a way to "bench test" the manual transmission reversing (GM# 3990842) and delay (GM# 3990843) relays? I was lucky enough to find these relays and was wondering if there was a way to "bench test" them before I put them on my '71
Can anyone help?

Ray -- they're easy enough to install that its likely best to test them in situ
