    Is my 69 a real L71

I have a unrestored 69 that seems like a real L-71 with all the correct indicators but no documentation. Upon disassembly I have found original F-41 EA stickers on the front springs. Heavy duty suspension was only available on ZL-1, L-88s and 435 HP cars in 69. Obviously it's not a L88 or ZL-1. Since these stickers are original to the car does this prove this car to be a factory L-71?

    Dave,

To help us out, post clear, close-up photos of the car's assembly sticker showing the assembly date, engine pad, casting number, casting date. Photos of the intake casting numbers, and list and dates for the Holley carbs would be good too. This won't be enough to confirm the engine is original but may point out any obvious concerns. In any case, a much better route may be to have the car judged.

UPDATE: I just read your other thread from two days ago asking the same question. I think we've helped with this question as much as we can.

      Mark,
Thank you for your valuable time. I was reasking because nobody actually answered my original question and then it kind of went in another direction. The question was does the original EA stickers on my front springs confirm the car came from the factory as a 435 HP car?

Dave, signs point to your car being an L71, but without paperwork or the original engine it is not an absolute. As I mentioned, once the car is restored, it is harder to confirm your car as an L71. Photograph all the items that pertain to an L71 before your restore the car.
I hope that helps answer your question.
