Just be aware you may end up doing a body lift after all.

I had deteriorated rubber body mounts on my 1980. First I loosened opposite side body mount bolts to lessen birdcage stress on that side. Then plan was to partially lift side just enough to swap out rubber mounts. Would have worked.

However, body mount bolts had rusted/deteriorated, and #3 mount bolt was rusted solid to caged nut on frame. Nut "spun" in cage. Attempts to lock nut in place failed, and a hacksaw was needed to separate bolt from nut. Cage and nut needed to be removed/replaced. This necessitated doing a body lift for welder access.

Things may work great or things may go South.

      Bill,

Just the right-side body mounts. You don't have to go overboard, we are only talking about inches here not feet.
