Anyone know what the color is for the early C3 rally rims? Need to get some spray paint for touch up. Is there a recommended source to purchase the spray paint. I want to maintain the originality of the rims. Thanks.

Re: 1970 Rally Rim Paint Color
When I did my research a couple years ago for my 1970 rims, I found it was a General Motors 1969 "Argent Silver". Instead of a pure silver tone, it had a hint of a greenish/tan tint to it.
I see Eastwood carries it in a spray can.Bill Bertelli

Re: 1970 Rally Rim Paint Color
FYI, the greenish-tint wheel paints available in a can are not as greenish as the original color used in 69/70. I have compared them with originals, and while the aerosols are greener than the usual Argent Silver, they're still not quite there. If they doubled the green, they would be close.
My neighbor had paint custom tinted for his 1969 wheels and it came out great. If you search the forum, I think it starts as a Mitsubishi paint code (really).Vice-Chairman (West), Michigan Chapter NCRS
