C2 speedometer

Hello folks

I have recently noted a buzzing sound from behind my dash. In other 60s chevys I found a pulsating speedometer and I believe had a gear problem. Though back then I did not do the repair.

My 65 327/350 appears to have a recent speedo reading high-perhaps 10-15 mph. Would that be typical of a cable or gear problem? Seems atypical, but I really have no other experience. If the cable has ever been lubriacted or replaced, it has been more than 20 years ago.

Any input appreciated.

Take the speedo and tach out and send them to our own Joe Ray. You will not be disappointed.
