There was a guy at Carlisle selling 63 only ashtrays with logo. Anyone know how to contact him? Thanks in advance.

Re: 1963 ash tray with AAC logo
Jerry - I checked all the repro guys - they all show pictures of a 2 prong ash tray. I must have gotten mine from Long Island Corvette before they closed. However, Zip bought all their inventory. you might ask them to physically check their inventory for a solid clip. maybe they have some old Long Island inventory that is correct

Re: 1963 ash tray with AAC logo
From what I remember the single tang ash tray sold by LIC was twice as heavy as an original. If anyone has one of the LIC reproduction parts, please post the weight and I'll weigh an original.
I still believe both single and double tang were used in 63, so either one should pass judging. It will probably be an argument with some judges.

Re: 1963 ash tray with AAC logo
Rick, I just weighed the two I have. I put a 200 gram weight on the scale to see if it was accurate.
Both ash trays came in at 1.6 oz. on grams they both bounced between 40 and 50. So Lets go with 45 grams. It's an old scale.
Close enough to what you got with yours to be correct.
Apologies if we somewhat hijacked the thread, but I do not recall anyone at Carlisle selling single tang 63 ashtrays.
I have a single tang 63 ash tray in my extra parts stash. It weighs 1.62 Oz or 45.9 grams. I don’t know if mine is an original or reproduction. For future reference for me and NCRS members, I ask Harry share the weight of his original ’63 ash tray in this thread.
Thanks,
Rick
