Anybody watch the sky high prices for Corvettes and GM muscle at the Auctions.

Sky high for resto-mods. A duntov 56 went for $120,000 while the C1 resto-mods went for over $200,000. C2 originals seemed to do ok. Almost makes me want to take my 57 duntov and resto-mod it and sell it…………almost.

Another thing that I find annoying is the volume of the auctioneer is very high and it drowns out the conversation of the two narrators describing the car - even worse, the auctioneer volume has an echo.

I timed it once, about 1 minute of commercials for every 2 minutes of actual auction coverage.

I watched the auction on the internet, live streaming, computer connected to my TV. NO COMMERCIALS!!!! Just total coverage and free!!!!

You must have much higher speed internet than we do, ours is about 10/2 Mbps, not good for that.

I did the same, Stephen. Unlike Mecum two weeks ago, I had to register and pay for that one.

YES but you would have to spend another 100,000.00 to restomod it. LOL

I've watched Mecum auctions on my computer for years and have never had to pay. Register and sign in yes, but never pay.

I record the collector car auctions with my DVR and fast forward through the commercials. Without doing that I consider them unwatchable.
