    '63 Yenko back seat recreation

Some of you may remember this after market seat available from Yenko! I replicated one using an old brochure.............no safety issues back then. BruceIMG_0607.jpgIMG_0595 (2).jpgIMG_0608.jpg

        Nice job!
Are you going to put seat belts in for the kids too?

Very nice job! I saw a coupe with one back in the mid-60's and wondered why you would want to put anyone back there-before my married days.

Yenko instructions were to drill 4 holes to mount seat.................no mention of seat belts. Not sure, but was '63 first year belts were installed? Bruce

'58 on factory installed belts, pre '58 dealer installed-not mandatory.

Don Yenko's Chevrolet was about 45 miles from me. I remember seeing a saddle tan couple at local show with the seat.
Thanks for the post here as brought back memories. Don was my friend back in the day. I just wrote an article concerning him for the Pittsburgh Chapter newsletter. John D.
