1963 frame stencil location

I know the frame stencil stamp numbers go on passenger side upside down, is it also shown on driverside? Thanks, Bruce

Bruce, yes the stencil could be on both sides. But on the drivers side is rare, very rare. Stick with the passenger side.

I referenced post 16 as it showed a picture. As you read through the thread others I believe are talking about other C2 years. I think JR is talking about a 63.

Bruce, How early is your car. I have seen a few (Very Few) early cars with the stencil on the drivers side. They were all up front on the bend behind the LF wheel area. Sorry, I do not have a photo. I took a few but somehow have misplaced them. All others are PS rear similar to Harry's photo.
