The right front corner of the hood is up ~ 3/16 of an inch and currently I don't have any shims. How does one bring the corner down so it is flush? The left front corner is perfect.

If you don't have shims in then Michael has the right thoughts on the hood with out filing or grinding away some fiberglass where the hinge mounts. Allowing the rear of the hood to come up slightly will slightly lower the front - you will probably have to split the difference.James A Groome

Re: 1967 hood alignment--front corner sticks up
These things are always a compromise; I've even heard of people cutting the hinge, grinding it down and welding it back together..
But its well worth trying an adjustment first.
Raising the rear a tad should make the front edge dip down BUT if its too high at the pivot point of the hinge that height is fixed and that's a different matter.- Top

If it was good once, then hinge location will help.

Tey adding a shim to the rear half of the hinge to lower the front of the hood.Mark Edmondson
