    Replating/Repainting '66 Plastic Dash Bezels

I recently replaced my original plastic dash bezels with repros. However, I would now prefer to recondition and reinstall my original bezels in my '66 Corvette.

Question 1: What is the best way to do this--replate or repaint? If replating, who should I use? If repainting, what paint did you use?

Question 2: I know that the "insert" part of the bezel was left unplated. But are the letter faces on the front unplated too? It's hard to tell on mine as they are so worn. The repro letter faces look half unplated so it's difficult to know.

    Thanks for any comments.
