Bizarro '62 FI air cleaner housing

I bought the air cleaner housing pictured below from Gail Parsons' estate. It's never been installed in a car. The housing cover I got with it is a stock '62 design with the small X. The "beehive strainer" inserted into the housing inlet is a perfect slip-in fit.

Can anyone identify what this might be and who could have created it? It doesn't appear to be homemade.

Jerry, Now that is one of a kind creation. Wow!!!
If you want the correct screen for it I have some I got from Dale Pearman in old days. Nice pics Jerry. John
