1963 distributor hold down clamp two part wire

Was these painted or natural and what about the hold down bolt? Thanks in advance If painted what color.

Jerry, my 63 clamp and retainer are plain steel, and the bolt is black phosphate. It’s been judged a few times with no problems.

agree with ed and would add that the head marking WB is a common fastner for the distributor hold down bracket. mike mccagh

Jerry, The wire clamp itself is black phosphate. The square metal plate with the hole in it for the bolt is bare aka rusty steel.
The bolt logos could be TR SBC etc. Bolt is black phosphate.

WB logo Dr. Mike was used from '57 to'62 . But it is WB1C Black also.

The top plate reinforcement of Originals is different from the reproductions. They have a raised pad with two distinct lines on the sides just before it starts to bend down.
