We just did a quick 5-minute video and put it on YouTube helping identify an original FP tripower air cleaner base to carburetor bolt from reproductions. We also gave some information on 68 and 69 tripower air cleaner bolts. Here's the link. Thanks :-)

The bolts may have nuance differences but they apparently all met GM's specifications for the GM #9425439 bolt. 1967-69 L-71/L-68 (and, even, 1970 LJ-2 if it had been released) were scheduled to use that bolt. As far as I can determine the GM #9425439 was never available from GM in SERVICE and, if so, NOS is an impossibility. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
