An FYI...
If you are rebuilding your 1963 Power Brake Master Cylinder, use the correct clip to hold the new piston in the Master Cylinder. In the picture below, the clip on the top is correct. The clip on the bottom will cause a problem with the power brake booster.

The bottom clip will scratch the support plate inside the booster. It will not hold vacuum and will make an awful noise. A replacement part, if you can find one, will be about $100.00. Plus you get to rebuild the Booster.

I circled in red the scratch caused by the wrong clip. Also, the wrong clip will be pushed from it's retaining groove inside the Master Cylinder and scratch the internal surface, thus causing the Master Cylinder to leak.
