I want to purchase knock off wheels for my 66 convertible. I do not want to but Kelsey Hayes. Two questions:
1. do I purchase the 66 that use the lead hammer or the "67" bolt on style with the 66 look
2. who is the best jobber to buy from

I use & recommend the direct bolt knock offs (uses 67 style bolt on wheels and knock off adaptor). There are 2 manufacturers: Americas Finest & Top Flight Automotive (formerly Corvette America). Good luck, Don H.

If you take the wheels on & off a lot, buy the bolt-on. Otherwise, buy the ones with the hammer. Cost is pretty much the same. Corvette America is the one that makes them for most vendors.

I bought America's Finest bolt-on's for my '65. Wanted bolt-on for safety and after research I concluded AF were the closest to originals. Also bought DiamondBack goldlines (their new "piecrust" radial). Very happy with the look and performance of the setup.
