    Flipper Mouldings '54 Corvette

    I have an early '54 and it has the short chrome pieces between the end of the door and the deck lid. What's missing is the stainless steel flipper parts. Does anyone repair or restore these parts? Thanks.

      Hi Brian,
      I have a very early 54 myself (#68) and had my flipper molding restored by Steve Newsom (carbtag@ymail.com). He did spectacular work on a pair that I though would have been questionable to restore. He comes highly recommended.

          Thanks John. I will contact Steve. My car is not as early as yours. Mine is #1133 car built but still has flipper moldings.
