I am trying to clean up / repair the various bonding areas in the front inner fenders and the seam between the hood surround and the inner fender underneath, i.e. looking up from the ground up at the inside seam.
Does anyone have pictures of how this is supposed to look or how much bonding material / panel bond should go in these areas? I have cleaned out the seam between the hood surround and the inner fender and had planed to fill the entire gap with panel bond but i'm not sure how much to use there. Additionally, i want to reinforce the bonding strip on the top outside with a seam of panel bond but again not sure how this is supposed to look. I believe it all gets blacked out and undercoated anyway but want to do it correctly.
I attach some pictures of the current state the seams are in. The body is on a rotisserie upside down in order to complete this work so these are as if you would be looking up from the ground.
Any help and / or photos would be appreciated. Thanks for any and all help.
Thanks,
Mark
