Go to Ebay. Lots of pictures there. It takes a trained eye to tell the difference.

If you look at the cover of a origional & a repop one the colors are different but you almost have to see them side by side.

Would it be ill-advised to scan an original first, second, and reproduction edition and post? (Wouldn't think so since counterfeiters have access to originals too.) If done, all booklets would need to be scanned on the same scanner with the same color corrections and sharpness settings applied.
