ignition switch connector

Hello all,
i got a new M&H dash wire harness. The ignition switch connector is black and does not align correct with my ignition switch. My original connector is clear/opaque, but is broke. I called lectric limited, M&H and they do not have the original style. Does anyone have any ideas where to get one?

Mike, Is it for a 66. If so I can send you one. Of course it will be used. How about a picture of the plug in end from you of the old one. Scott Fogaley@sbcglobal.net

I can understand maybe a color difference, but the repro connector won't even plug in ?
Never heard that about Lectric Limited or M&H harnesses..

John, Is it possible your switch isn't a '66 switch. Different years used different plug configurations.

Frank, i can plug the connector in but the 3 anti theft prongs do not line up.

I think the 66 uses a 686 but I could be mistaken. What does the AIM state?

Edit ( I had them reversed. Repro was the opaque, original was black)

For reference here's the back of a 67(686) switch showing the plug. They may have given you a 66 harness with a 67 plug.

AIM says 673.

John that looks like the 67 plug. Best to contact the supplier as it appears wrong.

When you contact them you can send them this photo. I did a crop of your repro and a 67 plug I had in the shop.
