    69 L46 carb. markings

Hi-Curious about the black paint or ink stamp markings (07?),on the carb base plate at the r/h rear carb stud.
(Also note engine paint on carb studs, and 37554 stamped on carb base plate)
    Thanks

I see you started a similar thread last May with no response. Contact cliffshighperformance.com. He's one of the go-to guys in the country for Q-Jets. If anyone has seen a stamp like this, he has.

I assume the 07 is just assembly or inspection markings.
The orange paint on the studs is normal.

      Nice looking carb

Hi Patrick- Thank you for your insight-Carb has never been removed, and still starts, fast idles, and kicks down as it should.
I ordered the car, has 5600 mi.

It's nice to see a Q-Jet with a well preserved finish.

Has the airhorn been removed? Its oversized gasket looks aftermarket.

Could you send higher resolution pictures of it to me? I think I could find a home for the picture.

Gary-Yes -I will try-My wife's phone has considerably higher resolution than mine- It would be simpler if I could "text" the pics. to a phone #,though.
                Thanks

Thank you. 815-389-9500 is my cell.
A picture from both sides would be very nice.

Are the front mounting bolts gold-cad plated? What is the build date of the car? I'm restoring my late '69 L46.
                            Thx
