    6th ed. TIM&JG re: Intake '69

1968-69 TIM&JG, p. 131, shows the 3927184 manifold was used in early production of 1969, and 3965577 in late production, on small block engines. My car was built in late November '69 (trim tag 11 26), and has the 3927184 manifold. Casting date on the manifold is J 29 9 (Oct 29, 1969), casting date on the engine block is K 1 9 (Nov 1 1969). The dates are 3 days apart. I believe the manifold is original to the engine since I've owned the car since 75, and believe I was the first to disassemble any part of the engine.

Do others with late production 69's have the 3927184 that appears to be original to the car/engine?

    thx

Thank you for the note. I updated the master 68-69 TIM&JG to show this.

Hi Richard- this is probably no help, but ser.#30751 has the 184 manifold (cast date G89)
I ordered the car, and nothing has been changed, so I know that it is original to this car.
