Fitting '65 Convertible Vent Window Glass
Is there a special technique involved in fitting vent windows back into the frames, specifically getting the pivot back into the frame? I had my vent window frames replated and am trying to reassemble them. Got weatherstripping in okay but the windows won't budge beyond a point that's just short of getting the pivots back into place.

I posted my question here ten days ago; so far, 56 views, no replies. I am sure that among all the collective wisdom and experience out there, someone must have dealt with this. For obvious reasons, i don't want to try to force the pivot into place in the vent window frame. Anxiously awaiting any suggestions. -
