OK, well we're back to at least sometime in '63 model year production, so that makes me think it may have been there all along, eh?

Hmmmm...methinks that's pretty small for a gauging point - plus it's not very deep, so it looks like the part could shift or "ride up" off the corresponding locating point if it was used for jig/fixture alignment...

Also, for a part that large, don't you think you'd have at least 2 gauging points (maybe even 4?) - at least one on each side (and maybe one on each end?) of where the part sits in the panel bonding assembly fixture(s)?

mold had acne vulgaris, with resultant papule that would develop into a pustule. maybe I've been into the beast too long tonite as I watch my steelers blow a game. mike

Steelers have been to, what, 6 Superbowls? We Lions fans have not even had six playoff games since 1957…they can’t grow hops fast enough to soothe our misery.
