Thinking about trying this system. Has anyone used it and how was the install? How well did it Judge? Thanks in advance.

Re: 1963-360HP Corvette Central N11 exhaust system
They have two types of N11 systems – aluminumized and carbon steel. The aluminumized will stay looking like new – won’t rust (in your lifetime). The carbon steel system is like the original – it will rust. I have heard the aluminumized system will lose judging points. Can’t speak to the carbon steel system – have no idea if configuration meets judging standards. FIT: For me, one side went in easy - perfect fit. Other side was impossible to connect both ends. I called CC, sent pics - they gave me a shipping label to return the one side - in a week I had a replacement. New piece fit like a glove. The problem with the one that would not fit was the two pieces were not aligned correctly when placed in a jig for welding. I am very happy with the system – sounds fantastic --- better than side pipes (IMO).Last edited by Ed S.; November 16, 2021, 10:40 AM.Ed- Top

Lots of prior threads on CC exhausts and how they judge. See similar threads below and search for "exhaust"Mark Edmondson

From the 7th Edition of the 63/64 TIMJG...
All 1963 and 1964
No 1963 or 1964 models were equipped at the St Louis Assembly plant with side exhaust. If so equipped, the judged car must receive a full deduction for the entire exhaust system and other modified areas. Coordinate with the Exterior Team in such circumstances.Tom Russo

Re: 1963-360HP Corvette Central N11 exhaust system
If a 63 has the "tool boxes" then the off road exhaust will not fit. Have proof. I bought a set from GMC in late 70's. Had them stashed until around 2008 or so. My chassis etc was re-restored and my restorer called me with the bad news. My car is a March 2/3 '63.- Top
