Exhaust Sleeve
Had a slight exhaust leak on the passenger side at the manifold flange union. 66, 427/390 car with side pipes, 2.5 exhausts. When I disassembled, I removed a heat riser that was jury rigged with screws to fill holes from a long removed baffle, flat gasket, donut and extension sleeve. Replaced all with new parts including a new riser filler. As I was under car working on my back anyway I decided to remove drivers side also. Obviously no riser, however, there was only a donut but no extensions sleeve. My question is; Does both sides of exhaust to flange supposed to have the sleeve? Assembly manual shows sleeve only on drivers side.
