LS7 was supposed to be a 70 motor option but never happened, a few motors sold over counter (crate) and put in cars. never an option for 71 or 72. motors were offered over counter by dealers however.

Re: TI Distributor ID Help
If memory serves me correctly, the 373 Vac can did not have a nipple on it, thus no operable Vac advance. These were common on SHP engines like the L88.
Jimmy, assuming it is a TI distributor, you have a very rare item in your hands!Bill Bertelli

Re: TI Distributor ID Help
Jimmy------
The GM #1111465 distributor was, indeed, the distributor for the never-installed-in-a-Corvette 1970 LS-7. The complete engine was available in SERVICE under GM #3965774 but it did not include the distributor. It was available until June, 1992. The 1111465 distributor was available in SERVICE until November, 1976.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
