    Headlamp Housing Clip

    There is a clip that mounts to the bottom outer edge of the headlamp housing (see item 2 in attached picture), I have NOS clips but am not sure what they are used for. I am assuming wiring but what wire goes there. Any help would be appreciated.

          I found my pictures of the clip before I restored the headlamps, the clip supports the wiring for the headlamp door warning switch.
