I have a 67 L79 coupe without telescopic steering. Recently I had issues with the turn signal not canceling after I replaced the turn signal switch. I ordered a new canceling cam and went to install it. I could not get the steering hub to seat on the column. It turned out the canceling cam was longer than the replacement cam. The new one is on the bottom in these pictures. It has a captured horn contact pin and spring. It is also shaped different than the old one. I checked with the usual supply houses, and they show the new, longer cam. Any ideas where I can get one like the old one?IMG_1879.jpgIMG_1880.jpg

Re: 67 steering Canceling cam issue
I see your problem, I also have a 67 with the telescoping wheel. Bad vendors!! I think my new one came from LICORVETTE. BUT they were never wrong! Had bad parts (wrong size) and found the correct @ 1/2 price at my local auto parts . Try them, then shove that wrong piece up their, you know what.

Re: 67 steering Canceling cam issue
What local auto parts store would carry these??? Every place that I look shows a picture of the one on the bottom of my picture. This one does not fit. I need the one pictured on top.
As I work on my car, I find more and more partrs are not original to a 67.- Top
