Re: 66-68 bb pcv valve tag
However, I just looked at the '66 & '67 AIMS(L36,L72,L71), and interestingly it's not listed nor shown as a separate part#. The PCVs are shown as a assembly, but unsure if it included a label or not.

PS This seems to be what is available from the vendors....

Re: 66-68 bb pcv valve tag
Mark and Rich, The PCV valve label is called out on Page 116 with a photo on page 117 of the 1967 Judging manual.
The photo posted by Rich earlier, is not correct. It is orange with black lettering. The original label is orange with white lettering and is about 3/32" thick.
I am trying to reproduce the label and I am trying to determine what years it appeared on the engine; 66, 67, 68. I've attached photos both types of labels.
Thanks for the help and comments.....

Re: 66-68 bb pcv valve tag
Mark, The tag/label is mentioned in the 1967 Judging Manual 7th edition on the bottom of page 116.
"All Big Block engines have a Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) system. An orange paper label is located between the PCV valve and the connecting black rubber hose. The white printing on the label identifies the correct PCV valve. Original valves are machined (not stamped) and do not have a raised shoulder area visible above the grommet."- Top

Re: 66-68 bb pcv valve tag
The correct label is orange with white lettering, as shown in the photo I provided.
By the way, the photo you posted of the orange label identifies a #736 valve, but the valve in the same photo carries a #691, so logically, the label is incorrect for that valve; #736 vs #691. Details, details, details............- Top
