72 LT1 alternator

Can anyone confirm the correct part # for our 72 LT ac (build date July 21, 1972). Presently we have a #1102464 dated 2E20, which was judged as not typical. My research indicated that the correct alternator part # should be #1100544.

My older NCRS Spec Guide shows 1100950 for base engine and LT-1 without C60. All '72 engines with C60, 1100544. It's looks like you left out a zero. Maybe the latest Spec Guides and JG have updated data.

The TIM does state the 544 as the correct number for all A/C 72s with an RH broadcast code.

Hi Gary, thanks for the excellent photo. If it's ok to ask, what is the build date of your LT1. The last 5 of ours is 26756 build dated July 21, 1972

Ours is a base coupe with AC. The last five are 15235. It was a march 3 build. The Alternator is a October 5th build date so I just squeaked in the 6 month rule.
