installing an OEM replacement radio in my 2002 C5

I purchased a 2002 C5 convertible and it has an aftermarket radio. I want to take out the aftermarket radio and replace it with an OEM radio. I found some radios on EBay that are refurbs but was curious about the theft lock. If I get the code will it work in my car?
