    Dwell Adjustment

So now that I have my car running again, what's the easiest method to adjust the dwell? I have dwell meters but the dist. cap window is so close to the FI plenum that using an allen wrench is difficult at best. I don't want to pull the distributor.

Perry, theres no easy way on a FI car, unless you rotate the dist. To make access a little easier, and then reset timing.

You don't have to pull the distributor. I pull the 1, 3, 5, and 7 plug wires from the terminals in the distributor cap, and then remove the cap toward the passenger side. You can then see the points and use the allen wrench to set them by trial-and-error.

Would a flex shift dwell adjustment tool work?

Not really, best is to do as stated above, remove cap, then use allen wrench to adjust points, to increase dwell turn CW, decrease turn CC.
