Question regarding manual brakes for C2 -

I don't see many references to manual brake cars in 1967.

I know on Mopars, it was very common for Big Block cars to have manual brakes, was this popular on C2 Vettes or did they all come with Power Brake Boosters ? Could you have ordered the larger Heavy Duty "manual" brakes ?

There were many manual brake 1967 Corvettes. I'm guessing because I don't have my references handy as I'm far away from home, but I'll guess that there were more manual brake than power brake equipped cars. The answer is easy to get from a Corvette Black Book----just subtract the total number of 1967's from those with the power brake options.

J-56 HD brakes were only available in combination with power brakes. No manual HD brake C2 or C3 Corvettes were ever manufactured for sale.
