1972 Light Switch

I just installed a new light switch in my 72. Moving the rheostat back and forth about 5 times and it quit working. Is there a source that makes a quality switch or are they all from the same source? Got this one from Ecklers. Since it is an electrical item, I'm sure its my fault it failed.

Hi Bob. My experience was similar to yours. To me, this is one of the poorest quality C3 reproduction parts on the market. I would guess that if/when you contact the selling vendor, they too will be familiar with the poor quality and your complaint. Give it a try. What do you have to lose?

As for a better quality switch, keep your eye out for NOS or used switches. This is how I solved my switch problem.

I am looking for one, just haven't seen one yet. I knew there was a reason replacements are so cheap to buy
