Well, I guess proper repairs are out! Fixed correctly they can be better than the assembly line!

My comments absolutely apply to all old cars, not just Corvettes.

Not just collectable and contemporary cars........ boats too. Prices on used boats are up about 20% compared to about 6 months ago. Crazy!

The value of everything isn't really going up, rather the value of the dollar is going down.

Restomods have their own market not attached to original cars.

I realize that these are the "Asking Prices" and the actual "Selling Prices" will be different. Also noticed that
the "Coupe" Prices now have equalized with the "Convertible" prices. The cars I noticed are very very good cars
but not great cars. eg.>Bloomington Gold and NCRS Top Flight. Comments Please>Thanks>Larry

Since you've asked, If I recall correctly, the consensus in your previous threads wherein you described your alignment shop mishap and need for body and paint repair, and engine rebuild saga was that none of the wealth you dumped into the car would cause appreciation in the car's value.. The advice was to get your car usable again and enjoy it some years.. Try to get ahead of the curve.. Now you have the car done and have to sell it.. That is a recipe for major loss of wealth. It's the nature of the market for NOM 64s with lots of stories.

Seems to me , the only C2 prices that have "Skyrocketed" in the last two years are the 63 Coupes!

Congratulations on finding your original block. Hang on to that tight if you don't do the installation. Someone may eventually reunite the block with the car.

I looked at maybe 10 C2's that had extensive body work,or were treated poorly before buying one in 1967. Most of the cars I passed on were a project 60 years ago.
