    The aftermarket soft rubber reproduction was my issue. I tried a different manufacture, the durometer was much closer to stock. I was able to get it to reset for the ops. Of course you can never tell till the replacement arrives. Durometers of rubber or plastic seem to be all over the place. Typically they look correct but that's about it. I have ended up with lots of items like body mounts that were garbage compared to GM's. Some cracked when tightened.
