2 copies of tank sticker on top of one another

I cut the tank sticker out of the origional gas tank & realized that there were 2 copies one on top of another. Anyone else ever saw one like this?

I have seen one that appeared to be from the next car on the assembly line. Clearly, based on color and options, wasn't the car it was attached to.

Yes a inch & half of the center section is missing & wording continues from the bottom sheet. Also you can see a small section off the is lifted up with the second sheet showing. Can send a picture.

There were lots of copies of build orders for each unit. It wouldn't surprise me to see two in a location.

I wrote an article for The Corvette Restorer a few years back called Tale of Two Tank Stickers. My car had its tank sticker and one for a car two before my car.

Yes I have heard of that. I had a 67 that had so many options it had 2 stickers listing all the options. I had just never heard or saw 1 with 2 copies of the same one. Not sure how both staid 0n. It was bought new in OK & Bill Mock owned it in 74. Its a Blue/Blue 300 HP with PS PB Auto AC Speedminder head rest seats vinyl hard top and Factory side exhaust.
