If you are headed to Carlisle bring plenty of water for safety reasons. It is very hot and humid. Reasonable turnout overall.

Re: Carlisle
FWIW, being set up in the “K” row, we’re seeing a significant number of vacant spots. Perhaps and hopefully, it’ll improve tomorrow but today was a disappointment for us
Hoy, hot, hot with crazy high humidity.Don Lowe

Re: Carlisle
A guy from North Carolina says that it's crazy humid in Carlisle? Considering the weather here in Charlotte over the last few weeks, that statement speaks volumes!

Re: Carlisle
I was there Thursday and Friday, as usual. Very hot and humid but, to me, the event was not disappointing at all. Lots of cars for sale and very well attended. There were some empty spots in the vendor area. That was unusual. The Solid Axle group had a fantastic turnout. Lots of midyears on the FunField. The mood was great. Nice to see old friends and have a few beers. My 36th year and I will be back next year.- Top

Re: Carlisle
As for vendors, I saw many open spots. Lots of parking spots vs past years. Thankfully, I found what I went for and met up with some great Corvette friends too. Was good to see and visit with them all!Don Lowe

Re: Carlisle
I was only there Thursday. Got there about 9am. Slowly walked the entire venue with water in hand. The one unobtanium part I was looking for was not there. A 63 coupe LH door skin. Was good to see many friends and BS. The sun and the humidity wasn't a problem for me and I live in New Hampshire.

Re: Carlisle
I set up Thursday until 4:30 Saturday. Was a very good show. But I was concerned about the spectators walking around with no hats and no water bottle in hand. A lot of you remember when I was hauled out of there-four years ago severely dehydrated. Spent many hours in the ER.
This show I never drank so much Power Aide in my life. And plenty of water. But I was a tad scared on Thursday as my GMC mirror said 101 degrees!!!
My vendor trailer had 6 fans going so I was OK. MY rather new Honda generator was running on 100LL AV and ran like a clock and was very quiet.
Since you like to talk about fuel here's on for you. In the past when the generator ran out of fuel my son would fill it up with ethanol and the generator wouldn't start for crap.
I saw a lot NCRS people that came to say hello. Thanks for stopping. JD- Top
