Rest in Peace. Condolences to Family and all who knew him. He and I only worked once together on a '67 key project, and he saved me from doing it wrong. He was so helpful and honest and caring and just plain great to work with. I never met Pete in person, but I wish I had known him better.

      Godspeed. Saddened.

SO SAD. I remember when Pete saved the PV for Jaime G. at Frisco when he had a correct key tumbler for his 67 that had a 65-66 in it. We fixed it at lunch. I raced my electric scooter to his swap spot in the hotel and raced back with the part.

These great ''friend'' stories keep us all going. RIP my friend.

Yes, I remember that story about Jaime, as told by Pete many times, and there were others, Pete was the best.

Pete taught me about tire locks and keys. He was a gentleman in the classic sense of the word. Pete will be missed, but never forgotten.

I have waited a few days trying to think of what to post. Pete was a good friend. When he came to NC to visit In-Laws he spent a lot of time in my garage --- wonder why. You guys have said everything that can be said about Pete. He was a good friend and a great guy. That is about the best that can said of anyone. RIP my friend.

Peter Clare Lindahl of Los Alamos, New Mexico passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021, at the age of 79. After several months of declining health, Pete died peacefully with his beloved wife Mary Ann Lindahl by his side.

Pete was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Lindahl and Olga Chodl Lindahl. He is survived by his wife Mary Ann Lindahl; sister and brothers, April Lindahl Kendall, Paul Lindahl and Clarence (Mike) Lindahl; children Kirsten Lindahl Rencher, Kara Lindahl and Eric Lindahl; grandchildren Rory Rencher and Matias Rencher.

A celebration of life for Pete is planned for Sunday, August 29, 2021, from 2 pm to 4 pm at the Bathtub Row Brewing Co-Op on 163 Central Park Square, Los Alamos, New Mexico. All are invited to attend.

Peter will be buried at Guaje Pines Cemetery in Los Alamos, NM. The Lindahl family has entrusted the gentle care of Peter to Rivera Family Funeral Home of Los Alamos. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.riverafamilyfuneralhome.com

RIP, at a loss of words, Pete was a really great friend, I know his health wasn't that great for most of last and this year when we talked, I could tell, but you always hope for a recovery.

PeteBeer.jpgPeteDeer.jpgI wanted to post some pictures from Pete's memorial gathering today. Many NM Chapter members attended, as well as Corvette club people from Santa Fe and Los Alamos and his old friends from Los Alamos Labs, he had a Ph.D. in Chemistry. His family displayed his NCRS gear and memorabilia. We toasted Pete several times at the Bath Tub Brewing Co-Op he loved. We told Pete stories, and all celebrated his life. And as a nice touch, a couple of 8 point mule deer bucks stopped by the park next to our gathering. RIP Pete.
