One of the lower welds on the tabs that hold the "X" bracing is only welded on one side. Did they come that way from the factory, or should I clamp the tab down and reweld? See pictures. Thanks in advance for your responses.PXL_20210816_220846386.jpgPXL_20210816_220857279.jpgPXL_20210816_220900750.jpg

Re: 1965 Fuel Injection Radiator Support "X" Bracing
if u dont have access to a spot welder, i'd drill a 1/4" hole clear thru the arm of the bracket, then mig or tig the clamped bracket to the core support. u can dress the weld bead after mig'd. it'll be more of a factory appearance, rather than welding the sides of the bracket arm to the core support. mike- Top

Re: 1965 Fuel Injection Radiator Support "X" Bracing
I carried a service replacement64-65 radiator core support to Corvette Carlisle for about three years. Finally my son says Dad please give it away. So a restoration shop I do a lot of work came by and he got a nice present.- Top
