    Survey question: 1965 and 1966 Lower A-Arm rubber bumper bolts installation orientation.


    I am accumulating information for the upcoming 7th edition 1965 TIMJG (and I want to compare with the 1966 model year). I would like input from members with 1965 and 1966 cars with original suspensions. Here's the survey question:


    What is the installation orientation of the bolts that attach your rubber bumpers to your lower A-Arms?


    Bolt heads up (hex nuts down), or
    Bolt heads down (hex nuts up)?


    Please provide in your answer your model year (1965 or 1966) and serial number.

                                  If I was a betting man I bet there is going to be more with the heads up. It’s probably in the AIMs that way.
