GM VIP program in the 50s-70s?

I'd like to know if anybody knows something about how GM handled VIPs, e.g. was there a special department and is there a faint chance that respective documents still exist?
    Some background:
Former Belgium King Leopold III had a deal with GM and received a new Corvette in exchange for the old one each year. This was confirmed to me by his daughter. I have got pictures and knowledge of Corvettes ('58, '65, '66, '67, '68 - '69, '70) bearing the same license plate registered to the Belgium Royal Court (BTW: only one VIN is actually in the records of the Belgium DMV equivalent).
And I assume he was not the only VIP who received special treatment at GM. Prince Bertil of Sweden was another one.
To coordinate respective VIP treatment within GM I assume that a dedicated department, person at GM or Chevrolet was tasked with this. Unfortunately, a person (Jimmy X) who was interested in export Corvettes and who had a respective Internet site, has apparently deceased since the Internet site is offline. GM Heritage center hasn't answered my email and So I'm running out of options. But before I give up perhaps somebody here in the forum has any ideas or better connections. Thanks in advance.

Oliver, if you give me a vin for one of the 65-70 I can check to see what code was used by GM for the order.

      Mark,

      thanks for your help.
one VIN that might belong to a ‘65 Corvette Leopold had driven is:
      194675S100048

Oliver, this was an Overseas Distributors Division code car so its likely it did get shipped out of the country.

Mark, thanks. My hope is/was that there might be more information available on VIP Corvettes due to assumed “special care” for these persons, done by a dedicated department etc.

            Oliver,

You could check with the GM Heritage Center to see if they have anything on VIP Corvettes.

I had hoped that somebody active on this board has got better connections to the heritage center.
