C3 motor mount "spacer"

    C3 motor mount "spacer"

    Just curious as to why there was a spacer used between engine block and motor mount for AC cars. why wouldnt that be done on all of them if there is a logical reason for their usage

    The spacer is to align that fan with the points in the center of the opening in the fan shroud. If it was called a shim it might more accurately reflect its use. I am not sure what Chevrolet called it, but I have a belief we will find out before this thread is done.
