I found a super clear photo on the Corvette Forum showing a recreated loop in the oil pressure line between the engine block and the firewall. Does the loop in this photo reasonably mimic the size and orientation of the loop as it appears on unrestored C2 small block cars? Or in other words, would the loop in the photo pass muster with most mechanical judges?

Gary, i have the same line that Harry shows in his picture from LIC it fits perfect in the engine compartment and requires a little bend thru the hole in the park brake bracket and then into the gauge

I would be suspicious of this picture as the part I circled in red does not look normal to me.

Harry,
That is exactly why I posted #19. What I think the person did with the line in that photo is create something that they thought resembled the description in the Judging Guide.
