    Restoration of '65 Corvette

Am at a point where the body and frame are about ready to merge and interior work to begin.
I have a shop manual and various other manuals but none of them provides information on how to put the various components back together.
Does anyone know of a publication that could help in that area?
I know one can work through the shop manuals but required parts are not always identified and would also be nice to find something that had hints based on prior experiences.

Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

    Larry,

The NCRS store has Noland Adams' Body lift workbook and a video...I don't know if it has a section on Body DROP; but presumably, the drop back on would be the reverse of the body lift(?)

call or email Dave King (NCRS Shopkeeper) and he may have the answer to that...

check it out and good luck...

This post is for a '62, but it may help - and if questions arise, Rich Mozetta can probably help

Do you have the 1965 corvette AIM which is the factory assembly instruction manual ? They're available from many sources. With the 65 AIM , 1963 shop manual and 65 supplement and NCRS 1965 judging guide most all the car can be built as original. Is there a specific area where help is needed?

The doors appear to be our biggest concern at this time.
Once the body is put back on the frame the plan is to put the doors on (in their entirety) to help weight the body down so the body is "sealed" to the frame. Then the process of tightening and marking all of the bolts begins.

Mark, called Dave on Tuesday but have not heard from him. I'll try again tomorrow (Friday).

Put body back on the frame in roughly 1 1/2 hrs. Included run to hardware store for larger bolt to be used while 'washer' (rubber) adjust to weight of body and then will put correct bolts in. Looks both great and strange to see both body and frame back together.
