Re: Bolt on knock off after market problem
Just to put my original problem of not being able to loosen the spinner on bolt on knock offs to rest. I actually took the assembly to a machine shop and they just shook their heads and sent me away. I called Brian at Volunteer Vettes and he suggested to put the assembly into the freezer. I did and then squirted on trans fluid and acetone mixed together and a couple of whacks later the spinner loose. Moral of the story is, don't over tighten and don't let someone with good intentions put on your knock offs.
