62 front suspension rubber install
Hello, I'm trying to install the control arm rubber into the hole in the shock tower. I can't get the under part of this rubber to go into the hole of the tower. The suspension is still on the car, which makes it a little harder to do. I did managed to get the upper arm high enough, away from the tower to remove what was left of the old rubber. I have plenty of room now to put the new rubber in place but I don't have the leverage or strength to push the new rubber down in the hole. I heated the rubber to make it soft and also put grease on it. Does anyone have any suggestions for installing this rubber. I thought I would ask the experts since I apparently don't know the answer. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
